Help Is ICS Worth it?

i bought the samsung galaxy s 2 a couple of days ago, and it is currently running gingerbread 2.3 and i just wanted to know if i should update to ICS

i've read that it has given some people battery issues is this true ?

Personally, the later builds of ICS, Android 4.0.3, firmware versions LPW, LPD, LPF and LPG, are on a par, I find, with Gingerbread, Android 2.3.6, and in some cases, better. LPG, for instance, is very smooth and stable as well as containing all the cumulative fixes and I would not think about going back to Gingerbread now.
