Root Is it bad to have setcpu governor set to performance?

When the governor is set to performance, it's supposed to stay at what you set as the max. However, some people have reported that the governor doesn't stay what it's set at, and switches back to ondemand.
This is the first time I've heard of this happening, but this is only my 2nd android phone. Usually, the governor doesn't switch back unless you tell it to. And performance is actually better than setting both min and max to the same and leaving it ondemand, as this will save battery and/or memory as the phone doesn't have to scan to see what the clock speed should be set to.

Use "Ondemand" if you want to be sure that the processor down clocks when it it idle. This will increase the battery life.

and or setup a profile and enable it, and also you can enable so notification that way when you reboot your phone you will know setcpu is running.
