Root Is it ok to delete lg home launcher

You will be fine, as long as you have another home launcher. But if you for some reason do a factory reset on the stock rom, you will have no home launcher. This has happened to me a few times during testing before we had a working recovery, and I had to go through some round-a-bout methods to open the market to download another home app. I suggest either making a backup, or just freezing the home if you don't have a custom recovery.
