Just wondering if it will be a good idea to do an update when rooted quick reply would be much appreciated :-)

Usually the worst thing that happens is that you lose root. But usually it's easy to get root back after an update. Of course there will be anomalies so check in the device forum for your specific phone and let them know what the exact update is. There may be issues.

Thanks for quick reply :-) after rooting my galaxy tab 8.9 I realise I don't really have any use for it being rooted except adblock but that's minor any way if I do a factory restore on my device can Samsung tell I have rooted my tab? And will I be covered for warranty?

Thanks :-) :-)

I have seen an application I downloaded called superoneclick they have an unroot tab...will Samsung know I ever rooted? Thx:-)

No they won't. I was rooted before using SuperOneClick and I updated using Kies. They'd only know if you take the phone to them while rooted.

Hi do you have any idea how to unroot? Superoneclick have an option to unroot does that work? Thanks for reply:)

In the past, I have found that if you search XDA Developers, they have stock roms for you to revert to, if you are so worried about it. Just check it out, it's worth your time.

Ok if this helps clarify its "soft bricked" I know how to flash stock rom and all but my pc won't install the drivers "apx driver" so I can't use odin I would be very greatful if some one could help me out it seems simple with the android know how. Please help

5) Choose Install Zip from SD Card
6) Choose Choose Zip from SD Card
7) Select the P7310UEKHA_Restock_v1.zip
8) Sit back, wait about 5 minutes
9) Once the script completes and says "Done", reboot.
10) Welcome to a completely stock US Retail tab
