Root Is it possible to flash different programs found in cm7?

Is there a way to flash just the effect of the flicker you get when you lock the screen? Also is there a way to get that little editing arrow where you can slide it to edit the text?
 
This should go under the rooting section. This is a lot of work unless someone over on XDA has already taken it out as a single item for you to flash over.
