Check the XDA forums for a posting by "xboxexpert" <sp?>, a former developer for the Hisense Sero 7 Pro. He opened it up and added an inductive power charger and I believe posted a youtube video. Others have tried (sero7forum.com) with some limited success by one person on a similar route.

Sorry to say, unless you are an expert in electronics soldering. replacing the connector for other devices is difficult from my searches. I had to purchase a replacement tablet for mine ($25 from unusual situation) when it failed.

Just thought I'd chime in on this in case you haven't figured it out, haven't moved on or someone else has the same issue.

Using this information from xboxexpert on adding an inductive charger, I soldered a standard USB A cable to the board, drilled a hole in the case to run it through, and plug it into a USB Male to Female extension cable to charge. I didn't want to run into any of the issues associated with inductive charging, and while it isn't ascetically pleasing, it does the job.

So if you dont mind having an external wire out of the tablet, have atleast some soldering skills or patience to learn, and no other options, this is probably the easiest\cheapest to try.
