Help Is it possible to make the ringtone not play when connected to a bluetooth headset?

We recently got rid of our landline and were are now using a 1st gen Republic Wireless Moto E as our home phone. We also bought Vtech Connect to Cell phones so we'd have a more home phone like experience. As far as the Moto E is concerned, the cordless phone is just a bluetooth headset. We we get a call, the cordless phones ring, and the Moto E itself also rings. We really only need the cordless phones to ring, not the phone itself. My mom uses this Moto E as her cell phone when we are out of the house, so setting a silent ringtone on the Moto E isn't really practical. Is there a way make the Moto E itself not ring while it's connected to the bluetooth cordless phones?

This (untested) Tasker Profile should do what you want ...

Enter: RingEntry
A1: Variable Set [ Name:%RingSave To:%VOLR Do Maths:Off Append:Off ]
A2: Ringer Volume [ Level:0 Display:Off Sound:Off ]

Exit: RingExit
A1: Ringer Volume [ Level:%RingSave Display:Off Sound:Off ]

How do I use this? I downloaded the 7 day trial of Tasker.

Create a Profile keyed off any BlueTooth connect.
Create an entry Task that sets a global variable with the current ring tone volume and then sets the current ring tone volume to 0.
Create an exit Task that sets the ring tone volume to the value in the global variable.
Turn the profile on,
