Is it possible to post to a note using voice commands?

I use Keep a lot for shopping lists and would like to be able to add items but telling the google assistant what the item is.

You can use voice commands to create a shopping list, but it's not in Keep. I've never had luck at adding stuff to stuff in Keep with voice commands. But the shopping list never fails. It's part of the Google Home app and is stored there, you can add and view it w/your voice (OK Google add cereal to my shopping list or OK Google show my shopping list). You can also access it in the Home app for manual updating etc.

edit: only the primary list will be updated by voice, no matter how many you have named.

Yes. I used to use it when the shopping list was in keep. Now that it resides in home I can't. Just wondering if there was away to continue to use it via keep.

The best I can do is to open the add dialogue in keep and then use the voice command built into the keyboard. I can then use voice to add an item. A lot slower and more cumbersome than before.
