Background
Suddenly my Nexus 7 got stuck - booting stops at Google logo.
Nexus 7 2013 Wifi, stock image, no root, no nothing. Bootloader is locked. (basically as it is out of the box)
When trying to get into recovery mode I get the same result. Stuck at the Google logo (no Android with exclamation mark - just the Google logo)
Also, I can't unlock the bootloader. (I'm using the Nexus Root Toolkit)
I get the "Unlock bootloader?-screen" on the device but it freezes after I select "Yes - unlock bootloader"
So, I can't flash stock image either...
I think I have tried everything and I suspect faulty hardware (motherboard).
Possible solution?
I now have a chance to get my hands on a Nexus 7 2013 LTE 3G with a cracked screen.
Would it be possible to take the motherboard from the LTE unit and use it in my Wifi-unit?
If so, it would be a tasteful solution since my old Wifi-unit is in very good condition with a perfect screen.
I then wouldn't have to buy a replacement screen for the LTE (with all the hassle with heat gun etc.) or a new motherboard for the Wifi-unit.
Any thoughts regarding this?
