is it possible to use 2 phones from 1 sim card???

my phone went crazy on me, started calling all my contacts, opening all apps etc. so I have to ship it back to china to get it fixed (unlocked asian phone)

is it possible for me to buy another unlocked phone and just stick my sim card in and have it work? or would there be issues? any feedback would be great, thanks.

I know nothing about Straight Talk, but if it's a GSM phone then sure you can put the SIM in a different handset. That's the whole point, and part of the standard.

I buy my phones offline rather than through my carrier and just move the SIM over.

It also depends if it is a phone compatable with that sim card.
I tried once to switch one of my sims into a phone that was not compatable with it.
I think in my case one phone was 4G and the other was 3G, both with AT&T.
I had to get a 4G sim card for the 4G phone.
