Root Is it safe to flash a nandroid from an amoled inc to an lcd inc?

I shattered my inc screen when it decided it preferred the pavement over my hip while moving furniture acouple of days ago. So I did what every red blooded, rooted inc owner would do next and made a recent nandroid back up. Here is my question, is it safe and advisible to flash this on my next inc arriving shortly from assurian. What if the new inc has an lcd screedn instead of an amoled like my now comafied inc? Thanks very much for your help.

I posted this in the wrong section on accident its supposed to be in all things root, sorry. Hopefully the mods will fix. Anyway my new inc came in and its brand new but had an lcd instead of amoled so where do I stand can I flash the nandroid from the amoled to this or not. Does any one know?

I've heard of people doing this and it working fine. Just make a nandroid before you flash the original nandroid.

I agree with the previous post.

Make sure you make a backup first. I dont think a difference in display technology would have any sort of impact on the filesystem though so GO FOR IT
