Root Is it safe to freeze or remove apps?

All of the apk's are okay to freeze if you don't like seeing them on your phone. IF you freeze boost zone, then your special phone numbers won't work ext: 611 and 411 and also your visual voicemail won't work. Now if you remove the apk it will most likely brick your phone unless you are using the freedom kernel. So just freeze all the apk's unless you use service numbers or vm.

I got rid of the language translator & youtube since I use tubemate.
Uninstalled Talkback, Google Play books, music, movies & magazines.
Froze Weather, Swype, Update Device, & Sprint Installer, I did the last 2 in hopes it would stop the OTA updates but still get them.
I've used Titanium Backup for a long time & sometimes if you uninstall an app it may not be able to restore it so if you're not hurting for space it might be better to freeze them.
This is my 3rd Boost android & I'm surprised how little bloatware it has compared to my original Galaxy Prevail
