Is it safe to use my credit card on Android Market?

I've been thinking about buying an app, but then found out that you have to use credit card. I'm not too sure about it and was wondering is it safe to use my credit card, have you ever had problems with it and had lots of money taken off you?

You go through Google Checkout.

It's basically Paypal without the ridiculous fees.

It's secure.

Its very secure and if a problem should arise you would be protected by Google and the credit card company. They are promises that have to have in place to get a licence.

Just to add to this. If you want to safe guard your Google account even more then check out 2-Step Verification . There's an app on the market that works with it aswell.

Which app do you intend to buy? I would recommend checking out the user comments as well to ensure it is an app you want. You also have 15 minutes to get your money back if you do not like the app.
