is it worth to upgrade from Note 3 to 4

Ive been looking through the posts below and seeing how much everyone loves their note 4 and it as got me excited to upgrade.
Im nearly out of contract so can get a new note 4 for £43 per month with unlimited calls, text and 4gig data plus £70 for the phone(ouch)
Or stay with my note 3 and go onto sim only contract for £17 per month, makes more sense but that note 4 looks so sweet.......

Is there anything your 3 doesn't do that the 4 does? It's some minor hardware updating, for the most part.

I was initially looking at buying a used N3, and the only reason I bought my N4 is simply for a little more futureproofing (with the updated hardware) and because I got it from a friend at a killer deal.

I will say the note 4 is fantastic, but that was coming for an S4 with a noticeable upgrade in screen and battery.

Your best bet is to check reviews and see how the Note 3 and 4 compare. I think in your case it'll be better to hold out for the note 5 later in the year (which I suspect may have the same waterproofing of the S5) or just enjoy the reduced sim only price. The upgraded are pretty minor at this point.

Thanks, thats pretty much what i thought, just the excitement of a new toy getting the better of me.
ok,so 'google,galaxy note 5' :-)

OK I had a Note 3 and upgraded to a Note 4 and immediately noticed the sharper picture and the improved battery life. After having the Note 2 and then the N3 and eventually the Note 4 I kind of became a little blind to the improvements of the N4 over the 3. Then tragedy struck my Note 4's screen was shattered and I had insurance on it but Assuran (Name ?) did not have whilte Note 4s and it took them several days to get mine shipped out. I pulled my unsold Note 3 out of the draw swapped out the sim card and suddenly I was good to go until I got my replacement Note 4 which had me using my Note 3 for about 5 days.

I learned what I missed quickly. The Battery Life was quickly a difference and though I could live with the screen not being quite as sharp and remembered just how huge an upgrade the Camera was over the Note 3 which really had a decent camera for a phone. The Note 4 Camera however is a HUGE improvement over the Note 3 and actually rivals Point and Shoot cameras. In many way I was getting better pictures than I would get from my $220 canon P&S camera.

So really for me it comes down to Battery Life, Fantastic Camera and super sharp screen. I am sure there are other things as well however those are really the biggies.

I was happy with my Note 3 (equipment) but I kept having signal problems with it. I replaced it with another one and same result. I went with the Note 4 after not being interested on the other phones out there... So far so good. Camera seems Meh... I actually like the 3 for that. Screen is awesome on the Note 4! Battery is better after I drained it a couple of times.

I gave my note 3 to my wife and picked up an LG g3 just to try something new. My plan was to hold onto that phone until the note 5 came out, but with the loss off a removable battery in the s6 I'm pretty convinced the n5 won't have it either.

With no other interesting phones on the horizon I went out and picked up a note 4 yesterday. Speed and screen are way better than the g3 and note 3. Camera is really good in my limited use. Unless I'm pleasantly surprised by the note 5, I'll be holding onto this for quite a while.

Better battery, camera, screen, s pen functions, and with mine personally I notice it has a better 4G antenna over the N3.
