Help Is its Speed High Compared

Hi. I have two phones names here: Lenovo A1000 and Lenovo A916, My questions are;

Is Lenovo A916 much much faster thanks Lenovo A1000? (That's rumour)

Is Lenovo A916 really good for speed by considering its specs?

What are the major shortcomings of Lenovo A916 ?

One is a tablet and the other is a phone.

Do you need a tablet?
Do you need a phone?
Do you need a laptop?
Do you need a car?
Do you need a motorcycle?

They all have advantages and disadvantages. A shortcoming of the Lenovo A1000 WiFi tablet is that it can't make and receive phone calls.

According to Passmark:

A916=2741

A1000=2106

A higher number is better. So on paper the A916 is clearly faster. These are just numbers though. It depends mostly on what you, the user, will want to use the device for.

@mikedt , Link to the Lenovo A1000 THAT AM TALKING ABOUT, is below and it makes call. See the links to the two phones I'm talking about.

They both have an identical processor and RAM. One has a 13 Mp camera and the other a 5 Mp. The specs that you just linked are basically the same thing we would look at. It would be hard to find someone here that has owned both of these devices and could give you a definitive answer on which is better.

If you want a cheap but powerful device, buy the A7000 or the K3 Note, they are the same. The test results you could see in some reviews are insane.

OK, the Lenovo A1000 I know is one of these, on Lenovo's own website...

"Lenovo A1000 7in portable entertainment tablet." ...and it's a WiFi only device.

All of them are really quite low-specced budget devices, so non of them will be particularly wonderful for speed, especially gaming. The A1000 phone you listed doesn't even have LTE.
