Is K-9 email the best it gets on android?

I really enjoy K-9... does everything I want it to do... but I can't get it to stop crashing! Sometimes, I'm not even using it, and I'll get a crash notice.

I'm using six IMAP accounts, 100 messages history kept, polling every 15 min - 1 hour (depending on the account).

What can I do to stop it crashing so much? I'll crash maybe 6-10 + times/day. Thanks.

I don't remember my iPhone having one swipe delete....I remember swiping an email and then a red "delete" button would pop up that I would have to tap to delete. Am I not remembering it correctly?

You are, sorry. I hacked my iPhone to do a one-swipe delete, but it wasn't standard.
