Is Keypad Area Supposed To Be Slightly Raised?

I've had my Hero for over 2 weeks and just recently noticed that the top of the silver keypad area at the bottom of the phone is slightly raised from the level of the glass. I don't remember it being that way but maybe I just didn't notice it until now. For some reason I thought it was flush (even) with the glass before. When I run my finger over it and onto the glass I can tell it (the silver keyboard area) is slightly raised.

Is this how it is supposed to be? I just can't remember.

Thanks,

Brian

Thank you. Glad it is supposed to be that way. I had the phone in my jacket pocket and I bumped into something and I thought I loosened it up, but it's always been that way. I didn't realize it until now.

Thanks.

My question wasn't about recalibration.....it was about the construction of the phone.

Sorry about that, I didnt read carefully.

I would assume its that way for a reason. At least, it makes sense to me, since 4 of the buttons are not raised (menu, home, search, back), if you were moving around the phone, you could find that raised area fairly quick.

I wasn't talking about the buttons themselves.....I meant the area where the buttons are where it meets the bottom of the glass of the phone.

I know....
... if your moving your fingers around on the screen, and without eyeing want to press one of the buttons on the silver area, it can be easily felt as it is raised.
