Root Is MIUI 1.10.28 AOSP or Sense?

I'm planning on flashing the Incredikernel 2.6.38.8 on the MIUI rom but because I am new to rooting, I wanted to know if I should install the Gingerbread AOSP or Gingerbread Sense kernel. I've tried searching online but I keep getting mixed answers.

Also, I would be happy to receive recommendations for better kernels. I am looking for increased speed through overclocking without sacrificing too much battery life. Thanks!

It's AOSP. Overclocking is pretty pointless on the incredible.

Well from the last time you helped me out, I have no doubt in your opinions. So I may not even flash the kernel. Can you please explain why it is not beneficial on the Incredible? Thanks.

it KILLS the battery very quickly, and you are only gaining about 130mhz. The performance enhancements are negligible compared to how much quicker you'd drain your battery.

Most people underclock the incredible.

Completely agree. Let.me.add.incredikernel has faster charging and.better battery life for me.
