Help Is my 201 a lemon?

lgfamily8

Lurker
I bought my 201 back in December and it was fine (with the known exceptions of the GPS and weak WIFI) until about June. Since then, the camera has gone out. The screen started to "jump" or move up and down some. This has been happening more often. There are lines that show up on the left side of the screen on occasion. Recently, the back arrow on the screen flickers constantly. And to top it off the battery has decided that it will not charge past 57%.

Do I need to send this back? Will it do any good? Is there something else that can be done to fix these errors?

Where did you purchase it from? If from BestBuy bring it into Geek Squad and they should swap it out with an Infinty. Or you can contact Asus and have them RMA it. You are still within the 1-year Warranty period.

I doubt you have a lemon if you went 6 months and then all the sudden issues started to arise. I would recommend doing a full reset of the tablet. Unfortunately, the Android os needs a full reset every once in a while;)

Thanks. I did a cold boot and that cleared up the charging issues and so far have cleared the video issue. Camera is still toast though.
