Help IS MY ANDROID DEVICE AT RISK FROM VIRUS.

The android operating system can be changed by OTA which comes from secure server direct to the phone or during repair process. The phone's core operating system is not disrupted by any code from any other source. Further more any app that we install have it's own secure area of memory where it & it's data is stored.
Inspite of above all the things can our android device is well protected from thread of virus.

I don't think a "virus" is possible on android in the true sense of the word
