Is my battery discharging faster than average?

Hi Guys,

Need your advice & comments...
the battery on my N7 II has been "discharging" much faster than average recently ...
ie about 5-7% per hour ... is that normal ?
and that is rate that when I am not using .. ie "sleep /standby mode" ..

I have switch off Blue Tooth & Location Service ...

Left with Wifi On only... and from the print screen ... i dun think there is any bloatware / malware running in the background

I have run the battery flat and recharge back to 100% overnight .. it seems to be "normal" for the first day - using for 2 hours ...ie battery level ard 80% plus ..

then the next day...the battery starts to "discharge" rather "quickly" ...
without using ... in standby mode ..

Hello and welcome to the forums. I see your having trouble with your android device . Now i see your asking about the battery life this can be fixed in 3 ways . The first is cleaning the battery stats .this can be done from doing the second thing which would be a factory reset . Cause some where you may have a app that is running up the power in the background . Last thing is that sweep app i use it and notice it is always running and doing 6-7 tasks at once . So watch that sweep app cause u may see a change if you remove . But i know it works with the launcher .

Hi Brainz2013,

thanks! i upgraded from Samsung Tab 2(Wifi) to N7 II, one of my best tech decision ever! N7 II is really very fast & Smooth... Love it!

"that sweep app" - is that the Clean Master - do you suggest that I switch that off?

also, I was told to switch off my Wifi for the night and put on "FLIGHT MODE" instead ... and after this little experiment over 7hour plus ...

my battery level drop only 2% !!!! (from 51-49%)
(instead of the 5-8% PER HOUR!)

so does that mean that is something "wrong" with my home network/Wifi?
what can I do about it?

Yes switch off and see if u gain time when the clean master isn't being used. You could do the airplane mode but the only thing is that your apps wont update and your emails wont be updated til the airplane mode has been disabled . But the clean master is the problem i have and the funny thing is that you need this with the launcher . One of those things dam if you do or dam if you don't
