Hello all,
I just got a new HTC Dream phone last night and am very excited to finally be part of the android nation. For the first time I can actually surf the web via my phone in a 'real' way. My question is around how I am being charged for Internet access. I am in Vancouver BC, and I have an unlocked Rogers phone and using the Fido city plan from my previous phone. I am curious as to whether Fido is going to charge me for accessing the web via my wireless router. It seems to me I shouldn't be charged 'data-minutes' for this but at the same time I am sure Fido would try to charge me for access time if they can justify it.
Ultimately it will show up on my bill if they are going to charge but it would be nice to know so I don't end up racking up a large bill in the mean time.
cheers.
