Help Is my phone bricked?

vinuneuro

Lurker
I was flashing back to stock from CM9. I had already done it successfully earlier. However this time something went wrong and I don't understand what.

1. Wiped user data and dalvik cache using CWM.
2. Used the I747UCALEM stock rom. Same file I used the first time.
3. Flashed using odin. Used PDA, and only Auto Reboot was checked.
4. Tried reflashing 3 or 4 more times with the same result.

I can't get it to turn off without pulling the battery. Trying to use the power button to turn it off just causes it to restart. In the video, the phone was powered on right before the start of the video.

Any advice welcome regarding where to go from here. Is there any way out of this situation? Thanks.

Does it keep doing that? It doesn't seem to be bricked to me, but try to access the download mode and reflash the Stock ROM and see what happens.

Hi, I've tried reflashing the stock rom in download mode many times since, but it keeps doing this. I'm at a loss. Is there anything else that can be done?

Did you have F.Reset Time ticked as well as it should be?

Edit: sorry how rude of me. Welcome to the forum vinuneuro and thanks for joining.

If you can get It In download mode flash with 3 files not one it should sort it our because it resets every thing on the phone

Appreciate everyone's posts. Was informed about recovery mode. Clearing user data and cache there again, and rebooting did the trick.
