Help Is my phone bricked

I tried to flash my S3 to ICS 4.0.4 from JB 4.1.2. But it can't get past the Samsung Logo, is it bricked?
 
No. Bricked wouldn't even turn on. Probably need to do a factory reset from recovery.

If you haven't backed up however, you may want to reflash a 4.0.4 first to see if it gets working again because a reset wipes your internal SD card...

I just did a factory reset and wiped the cache, but no luck.
 
It's in a bootloop. Usually it's incompatible data but perhaps something went wrong with the flash.

What did you flash and what guide did you follow to do it?
 
SU what are what used to be called "checksums" called mate?
Make sure op uses these.


Off topic. Why you wana go back to ICS op mate?
 
Md5 md5 md5 md5 grr all i can think of is Mad Dog (cheap fortified wine) cant find a relievance for the 5 for my my memory. 5 bottles would kill me lol :thumbup:
