On an Android KitKat device (made by LG), when WiFi is toggled on, a message appears that says "[SSID] is no response from the internet" (where [SSID] is the SSID of the router to which it is connecting). The device then promptly connects to WiFi as expected.
The message is exactly as quoted above, grammatical error included.
Performing a web search of "is no response from the internet" comes up with a few other people experiencing the same issue, but I have not been able to conclude what process is presenting this message. One of the search results focuses on Sony apps, but I have not installed any such apps.
I'm guessing that when WiFi is turned on, something wants internet access immediately, without waiting for the brief WiFi negotiation to be completed.
Any ideas what is causing this, or how to fix it?
