Any further word on this? At one point about a year ago there were some threads saying that Paypal would be an option for purchasing apps thru the Android Market (now known as Google Play Store).
That's sad to not have Paypal linked to your Google wallet if that's what they were promising everyone that it was a center for all your online transactions. Paypal seems to be very straighforward everywhere else where you can use it. I really wanted to use the $20 I had selling a 3DS game to buy that new Android Final Fantasy III game. I guess it's going to have to wait...

I tried the Android Paypal app but it seems to be bugged. It seemed rather great if it worked though. (Downloading Android Final Fantasy III as I just beat the boss frankeinstein of Zombie Smash!)
