Root Is root crashing GE launcher and Google search?

I installed all three apps needed to run the GE launcher but once I launch it I get a toast that Google search was force closed. I believe it has to do with root. Can someone who can revert to root and unroot easily test this out for me?

Then what could be the cause? Maybe I'm not on 4.3 custom ROM?

Something to do with the velvet apk. I think you have to be on 4.2 or higher.. I think...

It is not working for many devices running 4.1 so looks like if you want it you'll need 4.2 or higher. Which for us means going custom.

Yeah some say any jelly bean phone then some 4.2 and then 4.3 -.- so I guess 4.2 is the way to go.
