Is RPG worth the time?

depends on the rpg. sorry but i do not see your point of this thread if you are not going to point out which ones you like. care to share what you thought was really cool? are you asking for suggestions? just remember we can't help you, if you do not give us more details.

They can be fun, amusing, and time killers.
But they can not be worth the time.
Inevitably, something to do with the game will interfere with what is going on in real life.
Things like events with time limits, bonus rounds, and such that must be done on the game's time- not yours- will often get in the way of what you are doing in reality.
I am not saying not to play the games, just not to let the game(s) play you.
They can be fun, amusing, and time killers.
But they can not be worth the time.

Some can be alright, but others can never be conquered at all.
Time limits, bonus rounds, everthing else underneath the roof, just lay low on some, although if there was an amazing one you enjoyed as a child, like myself.. Chrono Trigger. Until that day of where I stopped playing it around a few years ago, I still have the disc of the Playstation with one of the final fantasy, it is a great amount of love you kind of have to adopt it forever. That is why I love Fighting games, they are so quick.

I am just a beginner and never tried any RPG on PC, played 2 RPG games on my phone. But they didn't look exciting enough, so I thought maybe any reference will be better. And I don't have any preference, just wanted to dive in.
there so many great rpg on pc. can't really say that for mobile devices.
skyrim is my favorite of all time. i hear witcher 3 is really good as well. you can also go more sci-fi in the fallout series as well. start with fallout 2 or 3. and i can't forget to mention horizon zero dawn........its soooo gooooood. you get to fight robotic dinosaurs!!!!!!! enough said LOL.
if you like survival games, i would recommend subautica and subnautica below zero.
