Like most here i was looking forward to getting JB, for me mainly for google now.

To be honest now ive had it for a few hours I am thinking if they had just brought google now out as an app (if that's possible) I would have been happy to stay on ICS.

I may be missing something but it adds nothing to my S3, i haven't noticed the extra speed and smoothness everyone keeps going on about so for me its been a bit of a flop.

I am liking google now a lot.

hi,
yeah i dont think its a very big upgrade from what i hear - i do find it a bit smoother...and once i turned off s-voice, quicker too

maybe JB.2 will be better :)

This is what i was trying to explain in another thread. JB is smoother and has google now, which you can get in ICS. but people are complaining that its not out, but when they get it most people will not be able to tell a difference

The thing I really enjoy about Google Now is the way it interacts with my PC. I tend to google a lot of addresses on my computer, and a card automatically pops up with directions and an ETA for where I searched. I travel a lot for work and find that extremely handy.

Well... Google Now did wake me up this morning with an alarm due to a train derailment and chemical spill in my area. Very nice feature if you ask me!

when i had the Galaxy Nexus, i did notice an improvement from ICS to JB.

but on the Galaxy S3. i'm not sure i'm noticing an improvement because i'm using a custom ROM, or that i'm using JB...

the SGS3 was already optimized for ICS so you won't notice it any more smooth if it's already completely smooth.

But I like google now although it drains battery life.
