Is the 70 app limit in AOSP 1.6?

it's more of a running out of space issue really.. there appears to be some kind of failsafe limit built in (senseUI only as far as I know) that is hit when aprox 70 apps are installed.. it shouldn't be in the ASOP ROM since it doesn't appear to be happening on any phone other than the hero and eris
