My tablet is running android 4.4.2
I recently found a notification saying 'permission manager disabled', and shortly after this notification showed up my tablet got extremely hot and shut down. I gave it a few minutes, turned it back on, and about 10 minutes later it overheated and shut down again.
I checked running apps and found something called 'Permission Control'. I force stopped it, and was able to use my tablet for about an hour without significant heat buildup or any other problems.
So I want to know, is this 'Permission Control' a legitimate android app, or some sort of malware disguised to look legitimate, which I can safely uninstall?
