Is The Defy Any Good

Im due foir an upgrade and ahev just got back from my local carphone warehouse. I like the look and feel of the defy BUT is it actually any good? How does it compare to the htc desire (my current handset). Is there any better, similar phone around? (Shock, water and dust proof? Thanks in adance guys

Had mine about a month, still like it. Android phones are much of a muchness, but the Defy screen is good resolution, I can clean it with washing-up liquid and rinse under the tap, and the glass doesn't get scratched in my pockets. As for as I know, the Defy's combination of water resistance and gorilla glass is unique.

It hasn't got the fastest processor on the market, but is responsive enough for me, and I rarely notice any lags.

I highly recommend the case-mate tough case if you get one. It makes the phone feel more substantial in your hand, and the drop protection is excellent.
