Help Is the firmware causing battery life problems

The Battery life on my Upad is awful, however what i find strange is in trying to do a full discharge i left the tablet on the boot screen by pressing home and + in an attempt to fully drain the battery.

To my surprise the tablet stayed on for hours, however when booting it didn't even have enough juice to boot into the menu.

What's up with that. Is this a ZT-180 firmware isssue.

It funny you did this because just yesterday mine came unplugged from the wall somehow and when I hit the home button it was doing the same thing stuck in boot loop lol plugged it in and it booted up and went right to the home screen. And yes as far as the firmware there are many cork's but until Zenithink releases the source code to the community there's not much we can do about it I have been talking to to one of the Zenithink developers and he said that the boss doesn't want to release it he want to protect his investment but what I tried to explain was we and as in we I mean "XDA developers and others" can make custom roms/themes to profect the ZT-180 for a better operator experience.
