Is the Galaxy Note 10.1 similar to any other tablet?

I was just wondering if this is the same as other tablets, as in I could use the same market place stuff, game system emulators, and other general usage just like other tablets?

could someone explain to me what about the Note 10.1 is similar and different to other tablets? if it IS similar to other tablets, then what features (not specifications) are different or the same?

thanks for your answer!

The main difference would be the way the pen works (awesome) and multiscreen. I'm not a stundent but hear it's great for note taking and offers Text Book support. I'm pretty sure it can do anything the other tablets on the market can do. It has usb otg so you should be able to use game controllers np. It's the same Play market (although some games I have noticed aren't ready for tablets) Has front and rear camera's like most other tablets. It also comes loaded with Photoshop Touch(very nice)

I'm not a student, but take/attend CE courses and seminars. It's great using the S-Pen. Multi-screen is fun because I now use the Note 10.1 (split-screen) and my original Note at the same time. Fluid as I am using the pen on all the screens. The S-Pen is forward (original Note) and backwards (Note 10.1) compatible with the Notes.

Keyboard is nice, but not the best method of jotting down notes or points.

It's also great for creative artistic users I would believe. As the pen adds greater accuracy and can be held and used more naturally with palm rejection recognition. It's a great tool to use. But if you have no need for the S-Pen and its functions and don't like using stock apps for multi-screen (yep, you can't use other apps), stick with a regular tablet.
