Is the Galaxy S5 worth $230 more than the Galaxy S4 ?

in my opinion, having owned an s4 and used an s5 for a while, neither of these phones are worth owning. they are packed with features that sound great, but in reality none of them are flawless, and if you use them your battery will be gone in less than a day.

i spent $120 on a ZTE Zmax, which has very similar specs to the s4, but the performance has been top-notch. my s4 was constantly bogged down with stupid samsung software. i rooted the s4 and tried every ROM out there and none of them performed as flawlessly as my Zmax. the samsungs have good cameras, but so do HTCs. i would recommend checking out an HTC.

samsung is just plain stoop. you will always have the latest features, but you will only have an hour of screen-on time. i get 2-3 days every time with my Zmax

EDIT: better yet, sell the s4 for $150 and use it to buy a OnePlus One. it will blow any samsung device out of the water
 
I have used both of them , but comparatively s4 was better than s5 in many ways ,s5 has good features but none of them work in friendly way...but still,I would stick to s4

I disagree with your thoughts on the S5's battery life. The S4, yes, but not the S5.

I get from 1 to 3 days out of my S5.
My wife gets 10-14 days out of her S5, it all depends on how they are used.

As it shows, the screen was on for 5% of 8 days +, or roughly about 10 minutes. Just long enough to make a phone call a couple of times, and the screen goes blank in 30 seconds.

For the wife, it is a telephone. It is not a game toy, or a social device. She is the anathema to a geek.... think of someone who will not answer a telephone if it rings and she "just does not feel like talking to anyone".
