I am looking into rooting and options for my friend's phone, he has a Kyocera Hydro Elite C6750 on Verizon. It's running Android 4.1.2 stock right now.
I have been trying to see what can be done with this phone but there is very little information out there. There is a little more for the original Hydro though, but I'm not sure how closely they are related.
Here is a comparison I pulled up on phonearena with this phone, the original Hydro and the Hydro Edge as well:

They seem to all be in the same Qualcomm Snapdragon family, but I am no expert. Perhaps someone who knows more can suggest something? Or has anyone successfully rooted the Hydro Elite? If so how, etc...
