Is the LG V10 missing anything?

Side by side with my note 4 the v10 is actually a little louder but slightly less clear at max volume. I mostly use Bluetooth or earbuds for calls and music so it wasn't a deciding factor for me, but for those that use it I wouldn't let it keep you away. It'll be about as good as any other phone that lacks front facing speakers and the rest of the phone has been fantastic.
I find the sound output on my v10 plenty loud and legible.

I wish the v10 had an LED indicator, for example to show when the phone is charging, or fully charged. Other than that, I'm loving this phone.

After looking at the specs for this phone, I can't find anything it is missing that I currently want. Is there anything that you want out of a new phone that the V10 doesn't have?

FM Radio
For those of us that refuse to stream audio or video on limited data plans.

Is there an option to block certain numbers without calling verizon? I can't find the option to do so anywhere.

Here's how it's done on the T-Mobile version, hopefully,it's the same/present on the VZW version:
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-24033

o Block incoming calls from a number, follow these steps:
  1. From any home screen, go to your app drawer.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call > Call reject.
  4. Reject calls from, then + add icon.
  5. Select one of the following:
    • Contacts
      • Select the desired contact, then tap Done.
    • Call logs
      • Select the desired call log entry, then tap Done.
    • New number
      • Enter the phone number, then tap Save.

Unfortunately it's not the same, still trying to figure it out.
Have you tried logging-in to your VZW account on a desktop PC & see if you can do it in account settings.
Still nada,I'd contact a Customer Care rep for some info.

I havent. I use my phone as my computer. Usually I don't struggle finding the option to do so, kind of strange that it's different with verizon for this phone. Thanks though, I appreciate the help.

Here's your answer, chalk it up to nickel & diming GREED:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/block-numbers/

Seems you can block up to 5 numbers for free, block ends after 90 days.
Otherwise,the above fee is charged.
You'll need to sign-in to your "My Verizon"account to make the changes.

Verizon really sucks for doing that!

Until there's a work-around an alternative is "TrueCaller" app. Check it out - I think you'll like it.

Set the options to block calls listed in their databases as scam or spam - a week later look at your "Blocked Calls" list and you'll really appreciate the app.

I'm "missing" the LED Notification Light. While the 2nd Screen is a useful replacement, it's not as good as being able to look across the room to the "charging station" in my house and seeing a different color LED Flash for whether I've gotten a Text, Email or V.M. while the phone was muted for a movie.

I'd like a decibel or two more on the volume control when using the phone. I don't usually keep it on full volume, but there are instances where the background noise is loud enough that I need the extra push from the speaker ... I feel my old Note Edge gave me that "one-click-more-volume" ... but this isn't really a complaint as much as it's a "want".

I'm sure I'll adjust to the way the phone delivers the sound and notifications as there's so much good in it that it makes my "missing" list feel trivial.

I have the LG V10 I am very happy with it, but to make it over the top for me is:
1) F/F speakers (the speakers is not the greatest I seem to muffle it a lot when i'm holding the phone .
2) With the great camera it has it should also have a dedicated camera button like the Xperia Z5
3) I prefer my 3.5 aux jack on the top so if they would put one on the top & bottom that would eliminate
every ones issue with that since its on the bottom.
4) 3500 mah battery
5) Vibrate needs to be stronger I keep my phone on vibrate all the time because of work.

FYI... ZeroLemon has a 9000mAh battery coming out at the end of next month

So, I've had my phone for a couple of months now, and I still really like it alot but I have just one annoyance that could get me to switch to another phone early. What I've found to be an issue is that the microphone isn't strong enough. As I posted earlier in this thread, the speaker was my concern because I tend to make a lot of speakerphone calls...though ONLY at home. (I'm not one of those people.) My last phone was able to pick up my voice almost w/o issue as long as I was in the general vicinity of it. For the V10, I have to be holding it in my hand with the speaker pointed at my face. So, while I love the phone, I'm growing REALLY tired of having to keep it within inches of my mouth in order to have a conversation with someone.

Definitely front facing speakers or at least a better one than the one that's on it. You'd think that it would have a better one considering the audio tech built in. Also a 3500mAh battery. The screen is BY FAR the biggest culprit when it comes to battery drain AND this phone needs Marshmallow IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, a solid choice!

Pretty much covering all points (except power management). Would be perfect if it had, in this order...

1. Sony Xperia like Stamina modes - or At least toggle Wifi, Mobile radios off intermittently (user timed) while screen off.

2. Stereo Front facing speakers, including bottom or top speaker (three speakers) - Loudness needed in car for voice navigation. Since some people keep phones vertical in cup holders Provided they remain very loud and clear.

3. Phase and Contrast detect with laser auto focus. - For faster auto focus.

4. Notifications LED - They shine brighter from the across the room. - Current software workaround can be blinking LED flash.

5. Extend the second screen to full width. - Allow more quick functionality.

#1 Could probably be implemented with an app such as LLAMA /TASKER/MACRODROID/etc........

#4 This as well, appears to be several apps in the Google Play Store to implement camera LED Flash notifications.

As for the WI-FI off when screen off, this can be achieved in SETTINGS > WI-FI >ADVANCED WI-FI.

You can also restrict data use in background:
Go to SETTINGS > MOBILE DATA.
Tap on the menu (3 dots in the upperR/H Corner) & select Restrict background data.
Once selected, you'll see the disclaimer regarding possible update delays if both Data & WI-FI are unavailable/restricted due to settings choices/etc.......

I haven't had a phone with front facing speakers, but they seem like they would be nice. That definitely doesn't out weigh everything else this phone will have.

SD card slot is my biggest deal. It's just so easy to move all my stuff to a new phone with an SD card. Not to mention protecting all my pictures and music from water damage. (I work over water)
Having micro sd card is great to keep things off the main memory. You really should have Dropbox though (or similar service) if you work over water. Turn on auto photo upload and your photos will always be safe in the cloud, as well as on your camera.

The 'Ticker" display doesn't appear to span the entire width of the phone, giving space for the dual-lens FFC.
I wouldn't give up totally on this phone,it should be interesting to see what the dev community can do w/this.
These are 2 separate displays. You can turn the small second screen off completely, but it is not a part of the main screen. Its best to find icons or notification to use in there, that you will find handy.

Consensus seems to be that ff speakers are all that's missing. I wish it had a slide out qwerty keyboard. That would be awesome and is really all the V10 is missing. oops forgot the dual sim feature. I wish mine had that (as some HK V10's have)
