Is the nVidia Shield actually as good as they say?

I want to know before I buy the 32GB model. I wanna know if the tablet's as good as they say (I know it's already 6 months old).

Your talking about the handhald console right?! nvidia product names are getting confusing.

It's not bad from what I've heard, went for the Shield Tablet myself as K1 is crazy fast for gaming. :D

Tegra 4 with a 720p display is still quick though.

Yeah, the tablet. Forgot about the console lol

My tablet got here yesterday. I'm in love!

Yep, great device. The 3d performance is very impressive, there is a very noticeable performance improvement in most 3d games, if you thought they were smooth with Snapdragon 801, think again. :D

Plus you get the bonus of the Tegra only games and a controller.

Got a question for you guys. I got the 32GB/LTE. It claims its unlocked but shipped with an AT&T SIM and apps. Is it still unlocked, or do I need to request it to be unlocked?

I've never personally had but I have seen issues about how the WiFi antenna sometime doesn't receive reception if you tilt it or hold it the wrong way

Haven't encountered that. This has better wifi reception than my HTC One, Asus laptop, or desktop so far.

Dat battery
