Help Is the One X too big for pocket carry?

given it's fantastic size, of course there's a slightly noticeable difference.

it's slim enough to slide in and out of your pocket nicely and it's also thin enough to add a case without adding too much bulk.
 
I was worried about this, comign from a much smaller iPhone4, but have had no problems. It's thin and fits easily in jeans or a breast pocket or anything else.
 
just depends how deep your pockets are!:p



i put mine in my pocket ok, though it is obviously bigger than my previous phone (htc desire)

I for one have always taken every phone i have owned out of my pocket prior to sitting down.
I have sat down once with the One X in my front pocket, No issues for me. I wear loose fitting jeans though.
 
coming from a desire HD, the phones similar in size so it wasnt a SHOCK like some of the other peeps who got it for the 1st time. even with a case, it fits my front pocket just fine
 
Compared to my previous HTC Desire, it's not very wide and it's quite thin. The length can be a bit of an issue, as I've had the phone do the 10 second/power button reset a few times. The first was while sitting in a wooden chair where one of the arm-rest posts ended up pushing down the power button. Having the phone in my pocket head-first might have helped.

Other times have been when I've been wearing jeans and squatting down (doing DIY, looking for dog toys under sofa's, etc.). Now that I have a rubberised case (too paranoid about dropping or damaging it, even though my Desire was mint and never had a case) , it's even easier for continuous pressure on the top of the phone to cause the reset.

I wish they'd implemented a multi-button process for restarting the phone, as I'm bound to keep doing this. :-/

But generally, it fits quite easily into most pockets, so very happy about having it.

I was told that because it's very slim that it's not obnoxious to have in your pocket. For me, it would still be too large because anything larger than my car keys is too big for my pocket.

I came from DesireHD & although one x is larger I don't notice the difference. Not really aware it's in my pocket as it's thinner and lighter than my DesireHD
 
I have no trouble fitting the phone in my pockets wearing jeans or shorts. Now my wife on the other hand cant really fit it in her pockets, but that goes with any phone for her.
 
Thanks for all the input! I think I'm now leaning to the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Removable memory, battery, slightly smaller, and cheaper.
