Is The Unlocked Blue Topaz Version Compatible With Verizon?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if any of you had the Blue Topaz S6 and use Verizon Wireless? Everyone I've come across has a disclaimer that it will not work with Sprint or Verizon due to them being on the CDMA network. However, I asked a Verizon rep and they informed me that the phone IS compatible, even though it's GSM unlocked. I plan on purchasing an S6 within a week, but before I spend the extra money on the lighter blue version, I want to make sure it actually works.

If anyone has had experience with this, please let me know!

If Verizon are distributing it, yes, otherwise no, as non-carrier S6s lack CDMA/EVDO modes AFAIK. I've read the Blue Topaz version is going to be available in Asia first, and that one definitely won't work with Verizon CDMA. Same thing for Sprint and any other North American CDMA carriers.
