Is there a Android site that people respond on?

Is there a Android site where people actually respond to your posts? I notice that on this forum that hundreds of post are placed and only a handful of responses are ever seen. Do people not know much about Android or are they afraid to respond, what's up folks?

I don't mean to be rude, but I went through the questions that you asked and these questions have been answered many times. Sometimes posts go unseen and I apologize for that, but the search function is your friend. And as far as the HTC Desire goes, the phone has only been announced today and it's going to Verizon. I'm sure more info will follow soon.

Better not to answer a post if the answer is a quess and not factual ... so why would it be better to have a post answered ..only to provide the poster with possibly erroneous information ....

Many questions are incomplete and dont make sense, and may be from none English speaking ... (making it difficult to decipher the real issue) ...

Others are just questions that ask about equipment that is not even in anyones hands .... so how can anyone answer those ....

If you find a better site that answers Android issues better than this site ... Let us know ...

Maybe you can come up with some other reasons to posts not being answered

or post links to these unanswered questions you refer to ...

On my other question I asked if todays photo that Google CEO was holding was a Hero or Desire. Does anyone know the specs of the Desire. It seems that the Desire is the HTC Hero will be getting first and wanted to know what the specs are and if anyone has a pic of it.

This statement doesn't make sense "the Desire is the HTC"
that makes no sense in English ???
This is the type of Question/Statement that will probably not get an answer ...

There are no pics of the Desire and there are no specs the only thing anyone knows about the device is it has been approved by the FCC and it might just be the phone that was in the hand of the Google CEO today.
If there is no information out there you will see no answers.
I am sorry this forum has disappointed you in the 11 minutes (yes I checked) you left that question up before moaning about it.
I suggest you get real. Unless you want me to give you some BS about the device working the same as teleporter from Star Trek (it might even make phone calls)

I am sorry that I have a made a mess of my thread, but I was referring to the Hero and the Desire. As to my quick responses and questions, I come from a very active ie fast BB forum where people are on it all day and night. They will respond within minutes. I want to move to the Android platform and am trying to learn as much as fast as I can.

Well guess you must be in the Guiness Record Books ...
and not a good idea to get on the wrong side of the Moderators ... (make yourself standout by being helpful not being demanding and as if this site owes you something.)


You will find people here helpful if you are polite and respectful .... act less than than and you will get what deserve.. (usually ignored) ... and often made an example of ... your choice ...

I see that my edit did not make it to the finished post. Sorry again. My first thread and as always I just want to get information about Android. I do not now or ever want to upset anyone on any forum as it is not my way. I am not used to this forum and will slow down in the future.
