is there a way to delete all email messages in one go rather then selecting each one by one? sorry if this has been posted before...im strill learning my way around here...thanks

Kind of there is. when viewing the inbox press menu then delete. it will bring up a menu where you can check each message to delete then delete them all at once.

You can also delete all messages at once:

View the inbox
Press Menu
Press Delete
Wait .5 seconds (or the next step may not work)
Press Menu
Press "Mark All"
Now Press Delete and they will all be gone...this saves you the trouble of checking all the emails you want to delete.

Sorry if this isn't EXACTLY the sequence, I have no emails in my inbox, so I can't test it out.
