Root is there a Download link for this ROM?

First Post and you will need hboot 1.58 for that Rom to Boot

With or without a PC. Both methods are covered in this post.

I've been using the "fastboot flash zip" method lately since it avoids having to futz around with the PG86IMG.zip file and allows for a direct reboot into recovery to wipe cache+dalvik after flashing the new bootloader. http://androidforums.com/rezound-all-things-root/535820-how-easier-way-flash-ph98img-files.html on the rezound forum goes into more detail and everything in that thread applies to PG86IMG.zip files on the Evo 3D/V.
