Is there a hot spot app for this phone

Yes, "Portable Wifi" its labeled I dont use ever, I live in a bad spot one to two bars works for calls/txt, and I use wifi everywhere, till I hit a urban area then I get my LTE again,3g is still damn fast too for surfing, email.
 
i was told boost mobile disabled the capability to tethering and hotspot on the hydro so as to make avaliable on new and promotional schemes to sell again as a repeat customer in a shorter time span to pad their books in accounting for a higher bid on the exspected sprint take over
 
I know that this is an old thread - but "Wifi Tether Router" from the play store is supposed to work if the phone is rooted. (Use this exact name - there are several with similar names.) Root via King Root and use Super-SUMe Pro to delete the King Root crap and replace it with SuperSU.
