We have 3g in cm10 beta 4 tango works on 3g you can text and it will alert you when you get a text might be easier then facebook just an idea

I thought GV sent text through SMS on the carrier. Did you get it working with a VoIP app or something?

Google voice works on WiFi when my phone has no service.....I use it when I am.late on my bill...so it should be able to work for SMS.....

Gv works it just shows up as a different phone number
