so, i took a video with my phone and i was holding the phone vertically. when i put it on my computer the video plays horizontally. is there a way to like save it so it always opens vertially? like permanently rotate is 90 degrees? sorry if this is worded weird im not really sure how to explain it any better.

There is nothing in the phones camera app itself that will rotate it. There may be an app you can download but I've never really looked for one.

I found the easiest way for me to rotate videos is to download it to youtube and use the youtube editor to rotate it. You can also download it to a computer and use a video editor on your pc like Windows Live Movie Maker.

its already off my phone and im not to concerned about the ability on the phone its self.

The only free video editor I know of is Windows Live Movie Maker. I have not used it but read somewhere that it can rotate videos.

ya i got it. movie maker worked but it would read the sound in the source video. so after i converted it to avi it was fine. i think im going to throw it on my mac when i get home and see what that does.
