Is there a way to clear accidentally saved words in "Messages" app?

Actually, your personal dictionary is for everywhere you type using the stock keyboard, not just the messaging app. Anyway, to edit your personal dictionary, go to settings, language & keyboard, click on the settings of touch input (the part at the right), personal dictionary, edit personal dictionary, then press the soft menu button and click delete.
