Help Is there a way to count how many songs are on your phone?

I want to know how many songs are on my phone but there are way too many to count by hand. Is there a way to do it that will tell you how much you have sort of like a computer will if you highlight them?

I'm not a collector of music on my device, Shudder, but I think you can go into your media folder and hit "menu," where you'll see number of items listed. I am not certain of that, but perhaps somebody will chime in.
