Is there a way to update to ics without using a computer

I don't have access to a good computer and I want to know if there is a way around that.

I believe you go to Settings and there should be an option of an OTA update.

No. I got an SMS from att saying that you could only access the update by a computer.

Ah, and since you have a Samsung that would be through kies if I'm not mistaken.
You could try a friends computer.

On an unrelated note, when do I know when the restrictions on my account are lifted. This is because I am a new user.
