Help Is there a way to upgrade Frimware w/out Rooting (or voiding warranty)?

What do you mean with firmware upgrade, to what version? Actual GS2 version is (think so) 2.3.5 and you'll get 4.0 early 2012. Wait few months and you'll get ICS.

There's way how to upgrade now, but just with root and (probably) warranty void :

You don't need to root to upgrade firmware unless you want to install custom Roms. You just need the right files and odin unless you wait for something official thru Kies. I know root voids the warranty but I'm not sure about just upgrading firmware.

With Bell in Canada, we are receiving no upgrades at all. I'm still at 2.3.3 and I talk to 3 persons at Bell and they have no idea what I am talking about... Kies says I'm uptodate.
